Space modes
Tips and limits
- Community: public publish-first Space with no owner until it is claimed.
- Free: registered, non-billed Space with a per-Space subdomain and HTMLSpace attribution.
- Dedicated: a Space whose owner has active Premium or Advanced and is eligible for Dedicated features and credit-metered resources. Password protection requires Dedicated mode and supports up to ten users. The included per-Space address is separate from this mode.
Limits and enforcement
Premium costs $10.00 per month and includes 1,000 total credits each billing period.
Advanced costs $25.00 per month and includes 3,000 total credits each billing period.
Free browser publishing is unchanged at $0 with no included credits. Premium has no API, CLI or new-token access, including for previously issued tokens. Advanced inherits all Premium hosting capabilities; its included bundle is the total, not added to Premium credits. Included monthly credits expire at billing-period end; flexible credit packs retain their existing prices and rollover rules.
Paid-plan switching and proration are not supported. Choose another paid plan only after the current paid period and subscription have ended. Credit packs remain purchasable. Missing provider configuration makes that checkout unavailable; there is no fallback to Premium.
A pending checkout blocks another paid subscription across providers. Closing it or waiting does not clear it. Complete or cancel with the provider, or contact support if blocked. A verified provider cancellation releases an unpaid pending checkout; there is no client-side reset or automatic timeout.
Cancellation keeps an already-paid entitlement through its recorded expiry. Provider suspension revokes it immediately; stale payments cannot restore it. PayPal activation, approval or a browser return alone grants nothing: confirmed payment and server verification of the matching active subscription period are required. Provider tests are mocked; real-payment checkout acceptance remains pending.
Ordinary Free-mode dashboard creation, deployment and settings cost 0 credits. Dedicated operations, eligible API operations, storage, bandwidth and paid features use server-calculated, versioned credit rates pooled across the account.
Dedicated storage is measured from all retained ready Release bytes. Bandwidth is measured from CDN and load-balancer aggregates. Rate changes never alter a prior ledger entry.
What “still online” means
Insufficient credits block a new paid operation immediately; recorded grace is not an overdraft. Ordinary exhaustion does not immediately stop existing paid traffic. Free bandwidth has separate 5 GiB per Space and 20 GiB per registered-account allowances each UTC month; exhaustion temporarily pauses uploaded content until the next month. Public CDN enforcement remains pending online acceptance.
Free and Community pages include HTMLSpace attribution. Usage is based on delivery-log analytics and can be eventually consistent.
Upgrade a Space
- Create and deploy the Space first so it has a persistent Space identity.
- Use Account Plans from the Space editor or the Dashboard.
- Choose an available Premium or Advanced checkout, or a flexible-credit pack. Packs alone never enable hosting or API access.
- Return to the Space and confirm that active Premium or Advanced has enabled the Dedicated behavior you need. Buying a paid plan does not automatically change a Space hosting mode or remove Free-mode attribution.
Tips and limits
- Paid entitlement and credits belong to the account, not a Space.
- A Dedicated Space without active Premium or Advanced enters Needs attention and can be downgraded to Free.
- Wallet balances are separate from account credits and cannot fund credit-metered operations.
