About HTMLSpace

HTMLSpace hosts static frontend projects. A Space is one hosted site or app; every deployment becomes an immutable Release.

How HTMLSpace works

HTMLSpace is for HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and static assets. It is not a server runtime, CMS, or build pipeline.

Upload a frontend project as a ZIP and HTMLSpace creates a Space, stores the deployment as a Release, and serves it at a hosted URL when published.

  1. Create or publish a Space.
  2. Open its hosted URL to check the deployed frontend.
  3. Use the Space and Analytics areas to manage future deployments and review traffic.

Your toolbar and account menu

The toolbar contains Dashboard, Spaces, Analytics, and Settings. Open your name at the right for Plans, API & CLI, Activity, and Profile, followed by Log Out. Administrators also retain Admin Area access.

The Free, Premium or Advanced badge describes your effective account plan, not a Space hosting mode. Advanced takes display priority when active; expired or inactive paid entitlements do not keep a paid badge. On smaller screens, the navigation menu contains the same links and plan status.

In Profile, open Appearance to choose a Color theme. The Space accent in the HTMLSpace wordmark follows that theme, with a matching lighter shade on dark footers.

Important terms

Tips and limits

  • Space: the stable project identity, URL scope, settings, and analytics scope.
  • Release: an immutable deployment created from an uploaded ZIP.
  • Live Workspace: a separate mutable working copy for supported file operations.
  • Hosted URL: the public address that resolves a Space and its current content.

Tips

Tips and limits

  • Keep a deployable ZIP with index.html and all referenced assets together.
  • Use a new Release for a production update; do not rely on editing a historical Release.
  • Choose Community publishing when you need a public URL before creating an account.
